Bipolar Disorder Help!

Question:
I believe I may be suffering from bipolar disorder I am in Coventry in the UK I need to know the Facts. What help is available in the uk Where do I turn for help Is there anyone in the UK who can help me find the Facts

Answer:
Try bbc.co.uk/health/conditions/mental_health/disorders_bipolar.shtml It includes some other sources of fact and help, but if you are bipolar, you'll need a psychiatrist. The route to one is via your GP (unless you're rich). I'm not sure that many GPs will prescribe lithium (which works well for me) and they almost certainly won't prescribe any of the alternatives, unless you're very lucky in you GP.
